Fianna Fáil are raising concerns about the drop in garda numbers across Dublin.
Figures published by the Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald show all but one station in the city, Donnybrook, has lost gardaí since 2012.
Fianna Fáil's Justice Spokesperson Niall Collins says this is affecting the level of crime in Dublin.
He wants the Government to establish a public order unit in the city centre to tackle the problem.
He said: "Organisations like the Chamber of Commerce, like the Dublin Business Association, the Restaurants Association and the vintners have for a long time been highlighting instances of serious public disorder and anti-social behaviour.
"We are calling on the Minister for Justice to establish a public order unit for Dublin as soon as possible to address the issues."
