Fulham captain Andy Cole led the attack against his old club when Blackburn visited Craven Cottage for this afternoon’s Barclays Premiership clash.

With Luis Boa Morte missing because of a combination of hamstring and foot injuries, French midfielder Sylvain Legwinski returned to the starting XI and Tomasz Radzinski played up front.

Young defender Liam Rosenior came into the squad and was named on the bench.

Blackburn, looking to move off the bottom of the table, were without injured forward Matt Jansen, so Paul Gallagher started after scoring during last weekend’s 3-3 draw with Birmingham.

Craig Short came into the defence in place of James McEveley, who endured a torrid time at Ewood Park last time out, while former England squad man David Thompson was again among the substitutes.

Fulham: Crossley, Volz, Knight, Rehman, Bocanegra, Malbranque, Legwinski, Pembridge, Diop, Radzinski, Cole.

Subs: McBride, Hammond, Pearce, Rosenior, Van der Sar.

Blackburn: Friedel, Neill, Short, Todd, Johansson, Reid, Ferguson, Tugay, Emerton, Dickov, Gallagher.

Subs: Flitcroft, Pedersen, Thompson, Matteo, Enckelman.

Referee: R Styles (Hampshire)
