Jockeys Philip Robinson and Jimmy Quinn each had a lucky escape from serious injury after both hit the deck in a frightening incident at Goodwood.
Jimmy Quinn's mount Bon Marche fell around a furlong and a half from home in the Stanley Racing Stakes, bringing down Camp Commander whose rider Philip Robinson was also thrown to the ground.
Neither horse was hurt and both jockeys were able to walk to the ambulance and though Robinson was stood down for the rest of the day Quinn was passed fit to take his remaining rides.
Robinson was not badly hurt and said: "I am okay. Someone switched out, brought Jimmy down and I couldn't avoid him."
A stewards' inquiry found that the incident had been sparked off by Michael Hills' mount Pablo, who interfered with Richard Quinn on Semper Paratus - who in turn hampered Bon Marche and caused him to fall.
But they deemed it was accidental and took no further action.
However, in a separate incident the stewards banned apprentice Ryan Moore for one day (August 10) for careless riding on Jonny Ebeneezer, who was found to have interfered with Hallion two furlongs out.
