St Pat's chiefs have withdrawn their complaint against a prominent St Brigids player following the clubs' recent clash in the Leinster championship.

St Pat's chiefs have withdrawn their complaint against a prominent St Brigids player following the clubs' recent clash in the Leinster championship.

The news comes as a timely boost to Dublin champs St Brigids who face Clonguish in the semi-final on Sunday, the first time they have ever reached this stage.

Pat's originally complained after a Brigids player clashed with one of their mentors, though the issue is likely to be dropped and not dealt with at tomorrow night's Leinster Council GAC meeting.
