Government forces take control of Syrian district, says state media
There has been fierce fighting in the Syrian city of Aleppo this afternoon.
It comes after government troops launched a long-threatened assault on the city.
State media says regime forces have taken full control of the Salaheddin district - a claim denied by the Free Syrian Army.
