Increase in people waiting on hospital trolleys nationwide

The latest figures show that 476 people are waiting on trolleys at hospitals nationwide.

That is an increase of 62 from yesterday's figures, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

The University Hospital Limerick is once again the highest - with 35 people waiting for a bed.

Cork University Hospital is next with 34 patients in need of a bed.
