Wexford: Six arrested in connection with Connors murder

Six people have been arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of Michael Connors in Wexford.

Six people have been arrested as part of the investigation into the murder of Michael Connors in Wexford.

The 21-year-old from Cluain Dara, Clonard, died in hospital a week after receiving head injuries during an assault in Belevedere Grove in Wexford Town sometime between June 29 and June 30.

Gardaí arrested three men and three women in Wicklow and Wexford this morning, ranging in age from 17 to 57 years old.

They are being held at New Ross, Enniscorthy and Wexford garda stations under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
