Police in the North are continuing to question two people in connection with a kidnapping and robbery in Belfast last week.

A 64-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested last night.

Police examined a vehicle at Adelaide Street thought to have been used by the robbers.

The armed gang forced a mother and her two children into a van from their home in Hannahstown on Thursday.

Her partner, who is employed by a major retail chain, was then ordered to take tens of thousands of pounds from a safe.
