The Monaghan County Committee has confirmed that Seamus McEnaney will remain in charge of the county's senior footballers for the 2008 season.
It will be a fourth term at the helm for the Corduff clubman who is a younger brother of former county midfielder Frank McEnaney and current top referee Pat McEnaney.
McEnaney's backroom team of selector Adrian Trappe and trainer Martin McElkennon, who formerly managed Cavan, are also staying on.
Monaghan had a 2007 to remember - they gained promotion in the National League, were runners-up to Tyrone in the Ulster championship and only lost by a point to defending champions Kerry in an All-Ireland quarter-final.
McEnaney succeeded Colm Coyle initially in October 2004 and now has the spine of a good quality team, with players like Vincent Corey, Damien Freeman and Ciaran Hanratty starring over the course of the summer.
