Cork City take on Derry City at Turner's Cross tonight for the first of two consecutive meetings between the sides, (kick-off 7.45pm).

Derry travel south without the services of Barry Molloy and Stephen Gray as they are both suspended.

Peter Hutton is also ruled out with a groin strain, while Niall McGinn and Mark Farren are doubts as they are both struggling with hamstring injuries.

Pat Sullivan will miss the game as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury, while Joe Gamble is suspended following his sending off against Shamrock Rovers.

City boss Alan Mathews said: "It will be a difficult game against Derry, but we need to maintain the intensity of performance which we displayed on Monday night as we bid to get the required result.

"We still have an awful lot to play for this season, and I would ask our supporters to get behind the team."
