A 12-year-old Cork student has been crowned this year's Doodle 4 Google winner.

A 12-year-old Cork student has been crowned this year's Doodle 4 Google winner.

Mia Buckley, from Summercove National School was also awarded a €5,000 scholarship towards her third-level studies and a Chromebook.

Students were asked to design a picture on the theme 'Ireland Is…'.

Mia's doodle will go live to millions of users on Easter Monday, March 28 on the Google Ireland homepage.
