Man injured in Dublin post office raid

An undisclosed sum of money has been taken in a raid on a post office in Dublin.

An undisclosed sum of money has been taken in a raid on a post office in Dublin.

The robbery happened at around 10.30am this morning in Summerhill, when two men on a motorbike attacked the passenger of an An Post van outside the post office.

The man was hit over the head and had a liquid sprayed into his face.

The raiders then escaped on a black motorbike with a bag of cash.

The victim was taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment, though his injuries are not serious.
