Road accident in Louth
One person has died in a road accident in Co Louth this morning, shortly before 8am.
The accident occurred when a car with four occupants went out of control on the Kells road outside Ardee and hit a wall.
One man died on the scene and the other casualties were taken to the Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
The deceased has not yet been named, but is believed to be from the area.
