Trial of US man accused of raping Irish student hears from taxi dispatcher

The trial of a banker accused of raping an Irish student in the US two years ago has heard a man in an agitated state called a taxi company from the area that morning.

Goldman Sachs banker Jason Lee has pleaded not guilty to the alleged attack in the Hamptons outside New York claiming he and the now 22-year-old Irish J1 student had consensual sex.

Yesterday, the court heard testimony from a taxi dispatcher called on the night in question and finger print evidence.

The prosecution case is stating that the distressed caller to the taxi company was Mr Lee.
