Cork is to benefit from a major jobs boost with the announcement this morning that Pepsi Cola is to set-up their European headquarters on a site near Carrigaline.

250 jobs will be created by the multi-million pound project, which was kept a secret by the IDA until now.

The company is to open a concentrate-making factory, which will initially employ 100 workers, with the remaining jobs following later.

Cork County Council is to formally agree to the sale of land to Pepsi Cola later today to allow the project to go ahead.
