Staff tackle fire on Stena Sealink ferry

Staff on board the morning Stena Sealink passenger ferry have extinguished a fire which broke out in the engine room in the early hours of this morning.

Staff on board the morning Stena Sealink passenger ferry have extinguished a fire which broke out in the engine room in the early hours of this morning.

They managed to put out the fire before the ferry docked at around 6.30am today in Dun Laoghaire Harbour, where the fire brigade was on standby to deal with the small blaze.
