Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a number of people following raids on at least two well-known lap-dancing clubs in the Leeson Street area of the city.

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a number of people following raids on at least two well-known lap-dancing clubs in the Leeson Street area of the city.

The raids, which began shortly before midnight last night, were part of an ongoing investigation into illegal immigration.

Both premises targeted were shut down and searched by gardaí.
