Up to 50,000 jobs are expected to be created in Ireland by the end of 2014, according to IBEC.
IBEC has revised upwards its GDP growth projection to 2.9%.
Its quarterly economic outlook shows the economy gaining momentum, estimating a 22% increase this year.
The Business group says unemployment will fall to 11% by 2015.
