Ireland's Peter Coughlan has reached the semi-finals of the 110m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton.

Ireland's Peter Coughlan has reached the semi-finals of the 110m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton.

He finished fourth in his heat in a time of 13.57 seconds, but qualified as a fastest loser.

He will compete in the first of three semi-finals at 3.55am (Irish time) tomorrow morning.

Sarah Reilly goes in the heats of the Women's 200m at 3.20am (Irish time).
