The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee has launched a scathing attack on the former director general of FÁS Rody Molloy who resigned from his position on Tuesday night.
Fine Gael TD Bernard Allen said it was unacceptable that Mr Molloy should ride off into the sunset at a time when he needs to be In Leinster House answering questions.
He issued a request for Rody Molloy to attend a meeting of the Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee next week.
