There is plenty of action in the Allianz National Hurling League this afternoon with focus turning towards the big hitters as Cork, Tipperary, Limerick and Kilkenny are all involved in semi-finals.
The highlight of the day is the all-Munster clash between Cork and Tipperary at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
With home advantage Cork will be favourites to defeat the defending All Ireland champions particularly following their excellent form in Division 1 in the league so far this season.
Cork are also likely to be the hungrier of the two sides as they seek revenge for their recent defeat at the hands of the same side in the same venue and the return of Eamonn Collins and Diarmuid O’Sullivan suggests they will have the edge this afternoon.
Limerick under their reinstated coach, Eamonn Cregan, were impressive last weekend as they defeated Clare and they should prove too strong for a Kilkenny side who have one eye firmly focused on the summer’s All Ireland championship.
