A teenage girl has died in an overnight car crash.

A teenage girl has died in an overnight car crash.

The 18-year-old was a passenger in a vehicle which overturned on Shanaway Road in Ennis, County Clare just before 1am.

Her body has been removed to Mid-West Regional Hospital in Limerick.

Two others in the car escaped serious injury.
