A man whose decomposing body was found in Dublin city centre died as a result of a fall, gardai said today.

A man whose decomposing body was found in Dublin city centre died as a result of a fall, gardai said today.

The body, which has not been identified, was found in a yard at the back of a business property near Grafton Street by staff at 3pm yesterday afternoon.

It may have been there for at least a week.

A post-mortem examination on of the body revealed the man died as a result of a fall, a gardai spokeswoman said.
