Morrison wired up with telecoms acquisition
Morrison has announced that it has acquired TE Services Ltd, the Dublin-based specialist telecoms contractor.
TE Services is a major service provider to BT and is Ireland’s largest network design and construction contractor for fixed line networks, providing asset management, maintenance and construction services to a number of clients including eircom and Vodafone.
The company name will be retained and the acquisition will enable the Utility Services division of Morrison to enhance our telecoms capability and offer a wider range of services to the telecoms sector.
Speaking about the acquisition, Utility Services Managing Director Charles Morrison said: “We’re very pleased to bring TE Services on board. We have bought an established business with a good track record and a highly skilled and technically qualified team.
"The skills and experience that TE Services brings will greatly enhance our existing expertise and capability and further support our continued expansion in the telecoms sector. It will allow us to provide a total turnkey service to our telecoms clients.”
