Spanish Point victims named

Post-mortems are due to be carried out on the bodies of two fishermen recovered from the sea off Co Clare at lunchtime.

They have been named locally as Micheal Galvin, who was in his 60s, and Noel Dickenson, who was in his 30s, both from the village of Quilty.

It's believed they went out to check on Lobster pots in their vessel the Lady Eileen but the alarm was raised when they failed to return to shore.

Their bodies were recovered in water near Spanish Point this afternoon.
