Valerenga have completed the signing of Norway international striker Tore Andre Flo on a contract that runs until the end of the 2006 season.
The much-travelled hitman, who has played for the likes of Chelsea, Rangers, Sunderland and most recently Serie A club Siena, was presented by Valerenga before Monday night’s Tippeligaen match against Odd Grenland.
Flo had been linked with a move to QPR and the 32-year-old admits he would probably have returned to an English club if he had not made the switch back to his homeland.
“There has been a lot of interest, but it all came down to those two countries. This is something I want to do now,” Flo told Norwegian newspaper VG.
