Aidan Lynch (calf) and Paul Byrne (groin) are major doubts for UCD. Brian Shorthall and 18-year-old Kieran Harte will come into the squad in their places.

Shelbourne have an injury crisis with Riche Baker (hamstring), David Crawley (head), Owen Heary (knee), Dave Rogers (ankle), Ollie Cahill (eye) and Colin Hawkins (flu) all doubtful. Manager Pat Fenlon has admitted that one of them is likely have to pressed into action unfit.
