Newcastle have retaken the lead in today's Premiership clash with Everton from an Andy O'Brien goal on 59 minutes.

The Toffees enjoyed the best of the early action as Duncan Ferguson gave them the lead in the sixth minute.

However, two goals, from Alan Shearer and Carl Cort, in the 12th and 15th minutes put the home side ahead.

But Niclas Alexandersen's 35th-minute opportunist goal keeps the Toffees in contention only for them to fall behind again through O'Brien's goal.
