Gardaí continue to hold woman after fatal Dundalk assault

A woman in her 30s is still being questioned by gardaí in connection with a fatal assault on a teenager in Co Louth two months ago.

A woman in her 30s is still being questioned by gardaí in connection with a fatal assault on a teenager in Co Louth two months ago.

Niall Dorr, who was 18, was attacked by a group of people at Castle Road in Dundalk on October 18. He died the following day in hospital.

The woman, who was arrested this morning, is being detained at Dundalk garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

This arrest bring to six the number of people who have been arrested in connection with the investigation.
