Three companies are set to create around 470 jobs in Co Waterford and Co Down over the coming years.
Two hundred and seventy of the jobs will be created as part of two separate IDA-backed investments by US firms in Dungarvan and Waterford city.
One hundred and seventy of the positions will be in Waterford and the other 100 in Dungarvan.
More details are expected to be announced later.
In Co Down, meanwhile, a Kilkeel-based company that makes airline seating is expected to announce plans today to create 200 jobs in the next few years.
Thompson Solutions is understood to have secured a second major contract with the American airline Delta.
