A Palestinian man has died after Israeli troops backed by tanks and bulldozers entered parts of the Gaza strip.

A Palestinian man has died after Israeli troops backed by tanks and bulldozers entered parts of the Gaza strip.

Hospital sources say 19-year-old Muhammed Akel was shot in the chest.

It's thought three children are among eleven people wounded by tank shrapnel.
