Two injured after microlight crash lands in Tyrone

Two men were taken to hospital tonight after a microlight aircraft crash landed in a field.

Two men were taken to hospital tonight after a microlight aircraft crash landed in a field.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident in Pomeroy, Co Tyrone, shortly after 9pm.

A fire brigade spokesman said both men were taken to the Mid Ulster Hospital, but their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

The cause of the emergency landing has yet to be established.
