Gabriel Heinze and Cristiano Ronaldo both return to Manchester United’s squad for the Boxing Day encounter with Bolton at Old Trafford.
The pair missed last weekend’s win over Crystal Palace after being handed a break by Alex Ferguson but have returned to training this week, with Heinze virtually certain to replace hamstring injury victim Quinton Fortune.
Ruud van Nistelrooy (Achilles) is definitely out, along with Kleberson (ankle) and Louis Saha (knee), with Ferguson now expecting the Frenchman to be back by the end of January at the latest.
Squad: Carroll, Howard, G Neville, Heinze, P Neville, Ferdinand, Silvestre, O’Shea, Brown, Bellion, Keane, Ronaldo, Scholes, Djemba-Djemba, Fletcher, Giggs, Rooney, Smith.
