Building services group Kingspan has reported a 30% increase in revenue in its preliminary results for the year ended December 31, 2011.

Building services group Kingspan has reported a 30% increase in revenue in its preliminary results for the year ended December 31, 2011.

Revenue for the group stood at €1.55bn for the year, an increase of 14% excluding acquisitions, with group profit up 33% from €72m to €95.7m, an increase of 24% excluding acquisitions.

The group saw a 85% rise in revenue to €460m from its insulation business, helped by the acquisition of the CIE insulation business which significantly strengthened the group’s European presence.

They also saw a return to profit in their Environmental division, with sales growth of 18% to €202m and particularly buoyant sales in Europe.
