Man to appear in court tomorrow after stabbing

A 21-year-old man is to appear in court in Dublin tomorrow in connection with the stabbing of a young woman in the city eight days ago.

A 21-year-old man is to appear in court in Dublin tomorrow in connection with the stabbing of a young woman in the city eight days ago.

He was arrested on Friday afternoon and is being held at Kevin Street Garda station.

The 27-year-old victim underwent seven hours of surgery after being stabbed on Lourdes Road in the early hours of Saturday week last.

The young woman remains seriously ill in hospital.
