A 20-year-old man has been arrested after the seizure of €30,000 worth of drugs in Galway city.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested after the seizure of €30,000 worth of drugs in Galway city.

A house at Ballinfoyle Park on the Headford Road was searched yesterday and 1,500 ecstasy tablets, worth around €15,000, were seized.

Cannabis herb worth approximately €10,000 was also seized, along with around €5,000 worth of cocaine.

Investigations are ongoing.
