The post mortem is underway on the body of 36-year-old Christine Quinn.

The post mortem is underway on the body of 36-year-old Christine Quinn.

It is now believed that the mother of two was stabbed to death at her Kilkenny home. It is thought that she died from stab wounds to the head and body.

Gardai are following a number of lines of inquiry into her death.

Emergency services were alerted yesterday to a fire at her home where she was discovered.
