Hewlett Packard is celebrating 25 years of operations in Ireland and looks forward to being here for the next 25 years.

Set up in Dublin in 1976, with five employees, Hewlett Packard now has 2,500 employees in Ireland and is the third largest technology company here, with a 30% growth in revenues year on year between 1995 and 2000.

A major development for Hewlett Packard here was the setting up of the HP Irish inkjet manufacturing operation in 1995 and the beginning of the Liffey Park Technology Campus, which now employs more than 2,200 people.

Further, smaller business units were set up at the Liffey Park Technology Campus, including HP's European SAP S/W support cent; Supply Chain Information Systems and Network Storage Solutions.
