Zambia to deport terror suspect to UK

A man wanted for questioning in the July 7 London bombings will be deported to Britain, Zambia’s president said today.

A man wanted for questioning in the July 7 London bombings will be deported to Britain, Zambia’s president said today.

British and American investigators have interrogated Haroon Rashid Aswat in Zambia and have agreed he should be deported to Britain, said President Levy Mwanawasa.

No date for the deportation was given.
