The body of a woman has been found in the Royal Canal in Dublin.

The body of a woman has been found in the Royal Canal in Dublin.

The woman’s remains were found in the water near Drumcondra around 10am today.

Gardaí say they do not know at this stage how long the body was in the water.

They have not yet stated whether the woman’s death is being treated as suspicious.
