Galway was named this afternoon as Europe’s Capital of Culture 2020.
And while you would be sorry for the #ThreeSisters2020 (Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford) and #Limerick2020 campaigns, Galway is

The city and county will now receive European and Government funding to host cultural events throughout the year.
And sure don't they have culture coming out of their ears already up there?
