Laois sources have denied that a rift has occurred between Laois football stars Damien Delaney, Stephen Kelly and the management team.

Laois sources have denied that a rift has occurred between Laois football stars Damien Delaney, Stephen Kelly and the management team.

The pair were substituted during the county's Leinster SFC draw with Offaly and did not train on Monday night with the panel.

But a management source said: "It was just a case of crossed purposes. Damien has had a severe problem with his teeth. Stephen was getting treatment too."
