Minister for Finance Michael Noonan has said the country's 12.5% rate of corporate tax will remain in place.

12.5% corporation tax 'is settled policy. It will not change'

Minister for Finance Michael Noonan has said the country's 12.5% rate of corporate tax will remain in place.

He has told the Dáil: "It is settled policy. It will not change."

He has also said the "double Irish" taxation scheme will be abolished from January 1 for new companies, and will be phased out for existing companies by the end of 2020.
