Heavy mist has delayed the start of the third round of the BMW International Open in Munich by three hours.

Heavy mist has delayed the start of the third round of the BMW International Open in Munich by three hours.

Play was due to start at 7.40am local time but the mist reduced visibility to just a few yards on the low lying Nord-Eichenried course.

A new draw has now been made, putting the players into groups of three instead of two, in an attempt to make up some of the lost time.

The leading trio of Ian Poulter, Jamie Spence and Richard Bland will now tee off at 14.50 local time.
