A post mortem examination is to be carried out on the body of a man after a fatal housefire in West Dublin last night.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out on the body of a man after a fatal housefire in West Dublin last night.

Emergency services were called to the house on Whitestown Avenue in Mulhuddart shortly before 10pm.

The remains of a man in his late 30s were found inside.

The body is still at the scene this morning, which has been sealed off for a technical investigation.
