A new opinion poll out tomorrow shows that 60% of people would support the European Fiscal Treaty in a referendum.

However a quarter of voters still have not made up their minds on how they will vote.

The Sunday Business post Red-C poll also shows that Sinn Féin has become the second most popular party in the Dáil, edging in front of Fianna Fáil for the first time.

The poll gives the first snapshot of voter opinion since the Government annnounced a referendum on the EU fiscal treaty.

The poll shows that while a majority of voters would support the treaty, a sizable number of people are opposed to it.

When the 26% of undecided voters are excluded, 60% of people say they will vote yes in the referendum with 40% voting no.

Fine Gael support is unchanged at 30%, but Sinn Féin are second on 18% (up 1%), ahead of Fianna Fáil who are down 1% to 17%.

Labour are up 2 to 16% while independents and others are down 2 to 19%.
