Two motorcyclists killed in Galway, Wicklow crashes

A 36-year-old man died when he lost control of his bike at Sralea in Ballinasloe, Co Galway, just before midnight last night.

A 36-year-old man died when he lost control of his bike at Sralea in Ballinasloe, Co Galway, just before midnight last night.

A 34-year-old also died when his bike crashed into a ditch at Tomriland Roundabout in Co Wicklow at around 11.30am yesterday, but details were only disclosed this morning.

The two incidents bring to seven the number of people killed on Ireland's roads yesterday.

A total of 201 have died since the start of the year.
