Eontec has announced the appointment of Aristoleles Kabarganos as general manager for Central Europe. He will head up sales, marketing and partner activity in Central Europe, and for driving Eontec's development across the region.
Kabarganos was most recently senior VP for BT's global mobile internet division, Genie Internet, he established the company's presence in Germany, and was responsible for the development of sales and marketing operations in the region.
Eontec develops and delivers Enterprise Java Banking Solutions. It offers a broad range of functionality for retail and corporate financial services. Founded in 1994, it is based in Dublin and currently employs 300 people worldwide with offices and development centres in Ireland, the United States, Canada, Germany, the UK, Japan and Singapore.
JLS appoints business development manager
Irish IT services provider JLS Technology has appointed Paddy Tallon as Business Development Manager at its Dublin office.
Paddy is responsible for developing new business and managing existing business accounts as well as promoting the product suites of JLS's partner base. It has partnerships with a number of companies, including Unisys, Dell, Microsoft, Cisco and Hewlett Packard.
Prior to joining JLS, Paddy was a Technical Account Manager with EMC.
Ion Technologies a data collection software company, has announced the appointment of Nelius Phelan to the position of Product Development Director. He is responsible for the product features, functionality and customer requirements in the company, while he also has responsibility for setting up the reseller channel in Ireland and overseas for the IonData product range.
