The IRA has issued a statement insisting its ceasefire remains intact.
The three-line statement also denies that the organisation has made any threats.
It did not specify any particular threats but it appears to refer to claims that republicans have been targeting Protestant community workers involved in talks with their republican counterparts in Belfast's interface areas.
Last week, the Progressive Unionist Party, the political wing of the Ulster Volunteer Force, said it could produce evidence that Protestant community workers have been put on IRA death lists.
In its statement today, the IRA denied these allegations and said they were deliberately made to undermine the peace process.
"There have been well-publicised allegations over recent months and days about IRA threats," the statement said.
"These allegations are bogus and mischievous and are being exploited to undermine public confidence. Our cessation remains intact."
