A Florida woman has been charged with aggravated battery for reportedly wearing excessive perfume – which her husband claims could kill him.

Lynda Taylor, 36, allegedly doused herself with perfume, burned scented candles and filled their home in the town of Stuart with lavender scented sachets to make her chemically sensitive husband ill.

David Taylor’s doctors said he is disabled due to allergies caused by exposure to hazardous chemicals while working on building sites, The New York Post reported.

He said his wife got angry when he refused to share a worker’s compensation settlement cheque he received last month.

He said her actions “made me very ill with severe headaches, trembling and numbness throughout my body. I could barely move. When Lynda saw this, she said she hopes I die, that in any event the money will be hers.”

Lynda’s lawyer denied the charges, saying: “The guy’s a faker. All he wants is to gain an advantage in the divorce case.”
